accommodationwhen you arrive at, ‘la ferme de la lochere,’ you cannot help but notice the magnificent oak doors of which there are three.designed by Katherine and handmade by local craftsmen, stretching upwards of 3m, they caste brilliant sunlight into the ground floor which is just over 200m2, paved in flagstones, with a majestic stone staircase sweeping up to the 1st floor.the entrance hall is spacious and rises up to the eves, which is lit with soft lights from 2 moroccan lanterns suspended from the ceiling.seeping round to your left is the vast living area with its handsome fireplace and large velvet sofa’s

there’s a pretty special table, specifically designed by Katherine to seat 14 comfortably, hand made again from oak.

the kitchen is very impressive with long worktops providing plenty of room for all students and a professional Godin cooker that has enough space for lots of activity.

the five luxury bedrooms all have bathrooms en suite and beds that are super comfortable king’s or can be split to make large twins.

one of these bedrooms is situated on the ground floor and two of the bedrooms have extra full size  single beds.

guests are totally spoilt with l’occatine products, bathrobes and slippers and daily maid service to refresh the rooms.

outside there are two courtyards with a private dining area in one and the heated pool in the other which then leads up into the higher garden where the aromatic ‘potager’ is brimming with produce just waiting to be picked!
